Hi,

while removing the old transmission out of my 94 camaro I accidentally broke the little wings that hold the shift cable in place, so i bought a new one and when i went to install it i noticed that the end that connects to the transmission by the oil pan is a little different than stock. I tried pressing it in like you would with the stock one but it doesnt clip on.
Anyone had this issue before?

The cable is from ACdelco PN: 12558306 as far as i know is the only one that you can easily get online.
