I popped mine off my LT1 and took it the local car parts shop. They matched it up on size and number of grooves for one off the shelf in the UK. Not sure if the LS1 belt is more difficult to find but worth a pop. Think mine was about £18.

Remember the LS1 has 2 belts. Dont forget to get them both when you buy them.

dm575, yeah I can get one from bauer millet for £28 but i'm in US at mo so just thought i'd get some small bits I'm allow to bring back. If its only $18 its half price.

OK got ya. I was thinking that the AC and Alt were on the same belt for some reason.
