selling a 97 camaro
I own a 1997 V6 30th ann. Camaro. It has 180,000 miles on it and just recently started making a loud knocking noise. I had it looked at and come to find out that the crankshaft and cadilatic converter both need to be replaced. I figure that it would cost more to fix then what it's worth. Besides that the car is in pretty good condition. Also where would be the best place to sell a car like that?
with that many miles and with the ticking my guess would be around 4000.. at most.. But its a start. Usually ya ask high and get negotiated with till you find something that works.

I bought a 96 with 130K for $1000 even. It did have a crack in one fender. Other then that it is a garage keeped dealer serviced one owner car.

did you even read what was said? "loud knocking needs new crank" aka spun bearing needs new motor. i would say depending on how clean the car is $1000-$1500
