The 99 Camaro I have has an intermittent problem that involves the power windows, convertible top and radio. The radio loses power and the other devices will not operate. I have recently noticed the security light on the radio flashes when this power off condition manifests itself making me wonder the issue is the security option malfunctioning. Anyone clues out there?

 

Do you have an alarm system? Factory or aftermarket?

 

Check out the body control module (BCM) as this will cause the intermittent issues with windows, radio and power top.
