running out of day light help plz

I would probably look at the spark plug wires and their routing in particular. Make sure that none of the wires are touching at any point anywhere. Then turn off oll the lights and after dark, start the engine and look for spark arcing or flashes under the hood. That will tell you which plug wire is faulty if there is one...thats where Id start.

has good spark it has fuel, theres a brand new pump in ther i can hear it click, all the car wants to do is crank it wont start its driving me ****ing nuts these thing is a pain in my ****!!!

So, the engine ran before, but now it wont? Retrace your steps, verify all your wire connections etc. etc.

no it didnt run before it was doing the same thing cranking forever so i thought it was the opti and now it didnt even fix the problem.. so i know its getting fuel maybe its something to do with my spark? i just noticed that when i have my car to the on position my battery is only at 8 on the dash could that be why?

Yes it could. You are not getting enough voltage to the starter to kick it over at speed. Either use a jump starter or a battery from another vehicle to try and turn the car over. Then have the battery tested.

kinda crazy i bought the battery only 1 month ago... also i noticed that there is a metal tooth missing in this? would that cause starting problems? its connecting to the ignition coil. i went ahead and took off the ignition coil and icm going to test the icm at advance auto today. charge your battery. when voltage gets to low the igntion will not work correctly. have the alternator tested, have you tested the fuel pressure with a gauge?

okay so i charged my battery and now it made a loud pop out of the exhaust when i tried to start it? do u think i mismatched the plug wires on the opti? can somone give me a diagram so i can double check
