Rough Idle, High RPM's and Dying while driving

It's supposed to change the voltage when you move the throttle. If it was bad you would see a random spike on the assiliscope while moving the throttle or it would not reach max voltage at WOT. You should use a t pin in the connecter and get a volt meter you should get a 5v reference from the module if not then you will have to do further dianosis of the circuit.

just to throw another twist into this.
the car now is running fine. no rough idle, no high rpms. i have yet to drive it around to see if it sputters out and dies though.
i did notice that the car would over heat, i found that the Fans were rigged to ALWAYS be on and the wire they used to do that had come off of where it was connected...i hooked it back up and no more overheating.
i'm sure it's highly unlikley but could the overheating be the cause of the Rough Idle, High RPMs and sputtering out and dying?
