2010 camaro wheel info:
Bolt Pattern: 5x120mm
Offset Range: +35 to +45
Wheel Size Range: 20x8.0 to 22x9.5
OEM Tire Size (Front): 245/45-20 (245x729 mm)
OEM Tire Size (Rear): 275/40-20 (275x728 mm)
That's the info for stock wheels on the 5th gen I found on another site/forum. Now if he has 18's you would need to use the brand and model of the wheel to look up the bolt pattern, offset, and backspace to see if they would fit correctly and fit your visual preference. Your bolt pattern is 5x4.75" (5x120.65mm)
**Addition**
Some say it is okay to run with a 120mm pattern on a 4th gen and some say otherwise just depends. I currently have(Not by choice) GTO rims on my 94 and they have the 120mm pattern and I have no problems. Could be risky though, which is why I'm trying to get them off as soon as I can. Just another thought.

I doubt it. If he's running 18" wheels on a 5th gen his sidewalls must be huge and probably won't fit in your wells. Here's a stock 20", I can't imagine overall diameter for an 18" wheel being much smaller because it would look odd on the factory car.
