Replacing steering column 1998 Camaro
I recently replaced my steering column for my 1998 z28 camaro, with a column from a 1996 camaro and everything works, the car cranks, but for what I can tell I am not getting any fuel pressure. I turn on the ignition, go to the fuel pressure testing valve, press it in and there is absolutely no fuel. Is killing the fuel pump part of the security on the car? The car has sat for about 2 years.
I do have the correct key and resistor chip in the key.
What is the easiest way to test if the fuel pump is getting power? While I don't mind replacing the pump with an upgraded pump I don't want to go through the hassle of the swap right now if I don't have to.
Any suggestions?
