Replacing the Opti with a distributor?
Yeah, no problem, it's ran so much better with the coilpacks and short wires. I really don't know what I"m going to do with it, looks more and more like selling it. I have a bad fuel injector or bad coil to deal with as soon as I get home.

You can use a LS computer and coilpacks with a LT1 along with the EFI connection crank trigger only and that is supposed to work well. That totally rids you of the opti as well for less money than the complete EFI connection kit. This is my next goal if I end up keeping my car.
What all do i need to do this? The computer will go right in? How do i know if its an EFI connection? Any LS1 will do or a specific year?
