That's not an uncommon practice, and car manufacturers have been doing that for years. From a cost standpoint, it makes more sense to make a main harness with provisions to plug and add options (or not) as the car is being assembled, as opposed to having different main harnesses for specific options.

If its a good rebuild, go for it. Forged pistons will allow boost or nitrous. You always wanted a turbo V6. How about a turbo LT1?

Well I'm definitely going to buy it lol. I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to get ballsy and wire up the power window or rip the guts out of the new door and put my manual stuff in it from my door... Hmmm
