OK I'll play along...

How do you know?

I know someone works at the SensaTrac company, so got them for 1/3 of what it looks like Bilsteins would cost each for the front ones

Sensatracs remind me of a cadillac shock, they don't belong on a Camaro -- bouncy -- foolishly had them on my old '95. Compared to the Bilsteins on my RS, night and day better!

Sensatracs at ANY price suck on the Camaro. Definitely a

Don't believe me, ask Sam Strano what he thinks about them, or just go look at his posts about them on LS1Tech...

Well it's done now, and it's riding better than it was on 120,000 mile old de Carbon shocks that it came with...

If we still have this car after this set of shocks and tires are worn out maybe we can start over again :-)

I would go with the best from the beginning to save yourself some unwanted rough rides in the future; glad everything worked out for ya

I have 225/60/16 on my stock 8 inch wheels. The car had 245/50/16 when I bought it. I wanted cheap tires and happened up on a set of used tires mounted and balanced with about 60-70% tread left for $200. I have to say they ride much better to me than the 245's and there is not much difference in looks because as you said yourself it is only 10 mm dif in stock size and that is less than a half inch.
I will put it this way even if I were going to buy a new set I would get the 225/60/16's

^ You leave out important details like specifically what brand/type of tire you had on your previous tires, plus your current ones, and what speed rating? Higher speed rating like a W means better handling due to stiffer sidewalls, plus higher speed support (if that matters).
