Replace Turn Signal Lever
OK. I'm looking at replacing the turn signal lever on my 97. The washer lever has snapped and will not activer the spray. So first off I'm looking at these two options
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ACDel...Q5fAccessories
and
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DORMA...ries#vi-ilComp
Both say the are for the 97 and control Wipers/Cruise and have delay. But the connections on both seem different. Can anyone tell me if eith one would work?
Then the next part of this is the actual replacement. Are there any instructions on here or can anyone give me the basics of replacing this?
TIA
Dave

To replace it is a highly complex process of pulling it straight out of the side of the column, and unplugging the Cruise Control plug which is located in a cubby thing under the tilt lever. Usually when you pull the turn signal lever out it will pop the cover off the cubby thing.
Install the same way only push back into the socket and it will only go in ONE way dont force it. There are pegs that line everything all up.
Also you can use just about any turnsignal lever from any car with the Saginaw column that has the wiper delay. They were used and almost unchanged for over 20 years.
