Rearend update.
So I just got off the phone with my friend who is fixing my rear end. He said that a used rearend is going to cost 200 buxs (500 for disc brakes).
I kinda figured thats not too bad seeing as tho everything is going to cost me around 250 all together to fix. [8D]
Sadly tho I aint got 500 bucks to lay down on the disc brakes.....[>:]

Its a good price as long as it does not have a ton of miles on it. You can compair it here. http://car-part.com/
Kaoss_11: I doubt you could even pay for the labor to setup anew carrier for $250. Once you run those metal chips thru all those precision parts you pretty much have to replace everything. Depending on the grade of parts he put in that could be anywhere from $1,000-1,800

well I ran into the same problem once upon a time. I ended up taking a 10 bolt out a late 80's camaro for 50 bucks and sticking some 3:73 gears in it. but it was for a 68 not a 4th gen. but I would just look for something that has the same width and save some money man.
