I got called out and 2 race 4 slips...i have a 94 z28 wit flowmaster, hooker headers,cold air intake,drags,3:73 gears,eibach springs,and shift kit on my tranny and my opponent has a 94 T/A wit flowmaster,drags,100 shot of nos,air foil,and a coldair intake. Who wins in the 1/4 mile and buy how much. Thanks

 

the nitrous car.... by ALOT...... what the hell are you guys racing for slips for? heres the deal: if EITHER of you had the money to justify racing for slips, you would both have WAY more done to your cars. if you want to bet on him botching a launch you can lay 100 bucks on the line....

This is how I understand this: You got called out to two races where there will be four slips (possibly for your skirt?). You have a 1994 Z28 with a flowmaster, hookder headers, cold air intake, a drag strip, the time is 3:73 (how do you get 73 minutes to show on a clock?!), gears, eibach springs and a shift kit. Your opponent has a 94 T/A with a flowmaster, a drag strip as well, a 100 shot of a particular brand of nitrous (does that make it work better?) and air foil and a coldair (different from cold air?) intake. You would like to know who wins the other persons drag strip and how much you should purchase it for.

Seriously though, I'm usually not too much of a grammar ****, but you should brush up on your wording and sentence structure if you expect help from the majority of the members. That said, it's hard to determine who's going to win, a lot of it is how good can you drive. If I were you I wouldn't race for "slips" because that's an easy way to lose something valuable to you, but it's your call.

i'd NEVER race for slips...i don't care what's been done to the car and what i'm racing. i could be racing someone on a big wheel and i wouldn't do it for slips...something bad could end up happening and you should win but still lose...such as blowing your engine or breaking your rear end. dumb idea

 

just run it and come back afterwards... man up.

 

you, because you have more mods, but to a smaller degree than he would if he was spraying. but still.... these arent "pinks" ready cars were talking about here.


racing for slips has got to be one of the worst ideas I have ever heard of...... and actually, i stopped hearing people throw that out after highschool when people realized the fast and the furious wasnt real...... i continued racing through college, but anyone talking pinks would just get laughed at.

If he won't race you unless you're doing it for "slips" then don't race him. Laugh and walk off, call him a whiner baby and maybe you'll get your race maybe you won't. Worse comes to worse you race somebody else in the future with that plan. If worse comes to worse when you're racing for slips you have to ride the bus because you don't have a car anymore. I know which one I'd choose.
