as im sleeping i hear my fone ring i answer it and its some guy asking if ill take 100$ for the whole car... i pause and think and say to him "are you being serious" he says "ya its wrecked" so i tell him in the most respectful way possible "no way i could get more than that for 1 seat" so he asks "whats the lowest youll take "well i could get 4000+ by parting her out so the lowest ill go for the whole car is 2000" and he becomes a total *** cussing and stuff telling me "are you ******* serious 4000 whered you come up with that number" and so on so again in the most respectful way i say to him "seriously your gunna call me asking 100 for a car thats worth 3000$ in the condition its in you must be ******* retarded" and i hang up on that sob

And that's why I hate craigslist. Everytime I list something on there, people call me up and offer me less than half my asking price, without even seeing the item, etc.

$100 for your car is just laughable. Maybe he was high.

something isnt adding up to me. 35 mph and you were shifting into 5th gear? are you running some really high gears or does your car operate well at 1200 rpm? and i am one to get some violent sneezes in the spring, and usually in a string of 3 or 5. ive had such sneezes riding my motorcycle and knocked my glasses off and didnt crash. just saying. hope you can get what its worth and get a z28

 

I listed an old high miles Suburban on Craigs list for $500. It has some rust issues and a blown headgasket and I just did not want to mess with it. I'll bet 4 different people offered me $100 for it with one guy offering $75 and he made it sound like he was doing me a favor. Scrap yard was 6 miles from my house and the truck still drove fine. They cut me a check for $385. The whole process took 10 minutes. Now a surburban is a hvy truck but I have no idea why anyone would sell any car for $100.

I am not saying you should scrap out your car it just some craiglister that just offer $100 for everything and hope some people just want to be rid of it.
