Question on Proform Valve Covers

I bought some 1.6rr and im not sure if they will fit under my stock valve covers and im wondering if I woukd have to do anything (and if so what?) to these to make them fit in my car

Those aren't going to work so well for you...it's pretty hard to find a good set of LT1 valve covers. The passenger side valve cover has to be "dented" on the front to accomodate for the alternator. So you either have to take a hammer and dent them yourself or relocate your alternator to get an aftermarket set of valve covers on. You should be able to fit those 1.6 RR's under your stock valve covers if you cut 1/2 the interior braces off.

You can machine the ribs down on the stock covers, which will usually work. Otherwise, I'd recommend the Canton aluminum covers.
