This is without question my favorite thread. I check it when I get out of class everyday to see what's new. You make me want to spend all the money I don't have.

 

Here's a cell phone idle vid the day I started it. It's changed now some, got her running a little better. The engine is starting to loosen up, it's got some power, sounds really mean on the throttle. Also sets off car alarms in open parking lots at idle, I love it so much. I'm trying to get some miles on it and run it this weekend, but it's proving to be a tough task.

 

Are you on the same tune?

 

No, I'm running a fully modified tune now, still working out the bugs. In that clip it had a stock tune. The AF ratios are everywhere, and I'm still getting some knock.

 

Cool,, sounds real mean. I would have bet money it was a cammed up SB.

You set of car alarms? Holy crap. That's awesome.

 

The video is misleading, it's not nearly as throaty as a sbc. And yes, I set of 3 or 4 alarms at idle every morning, lol, fun stuff. I'll try to get a video off my hd camcorder this weekend and post it monday, the sound quality will be triple what I have up there.

 

hows the fuel consumption? sound good.
