M******* is right, you're going to spend way too much on this car if you're going to do the full swap. Go for a Z28 so beef up, you can transfer the wheels over, sell the V6 and only have to spend >$2000 for a V8, 4 wheel disk brakes, better suspension. It's just a much better starting platform for a serious build.

And I think Altezzas are the ugliest tail lights on the planet no matter what car they're on.
**** is **** no matter which way you stack it...

wtf are those things on the side of the car? on the door..they're ugly no offense..but i like the rims though
Its the piece of crap Razzi body kit... I really hate it

So if you are going to have to do all the body work, and mechanicals (because it is a 6er), plus whatever else, why dont you just get a better car to start with??? Just take those wheels and throw em on an LT1 car and mod that, dont waste your time with this thing- clearly it needs everything anyway. Im telling you man, just save yourself all of the work and moneyof a power swap and tons of body work plus God knows what else, and find a decent LT1 car to start with. Think about itBEFORE you haveabunch of money into the car you cant get back- you still can throw those wheels on whatever F-Body you find. With the money you are looking to put into that thing to make it what you want, you could have a lot more for your dollar. It only makes sense....
Well how so? because an lt1 would run me around 5 grand anyway and on top of that itll have a lot of mileage on it also...

He's saying sell the 6er for a grand or two, and buy aZ28for 3 or 4. Like we have said, you will end up throwing WAYYY more into what you have now in order to try andmake it into what you want- and in the end you still wont have as good of an end result-I have been there done that with other cars. Just do yourself a favor and sell that car and buy a decent LT1 car to start....

hell, if i woulda thought before i bought my car i might have an 8grand car... like an LS1T/A..

ANYWAY Altezzas arent that great.. the smoked ones didnt look bad because you couldnt see the design asclearly.. you could save moneyby just smoking the stock lights and get the same out come.. As far as the snyper kit... well i was looking at the other post with it in it and im not a fan of the front fascia becauselike stated before our cars werent really ment forthe front kits.. makes em lookkinda strange imo. The only kit i like on camaros are the RSkit. As for the hood, theres a V6 mustang with that same hood at my school.. not that great either.. the scoop looks likehalf of acowl hood and an SS,notonly that but it was pretty high, and then ithas the odd triangles on it.

I understand this is what you want and thats fine, idont have a problem with you wanting something unique.. but right now your gonna end up with a broke and beaten V6 camaro w/ a body kit and rims.. its like taking a piece of crap (literally) and sprinkling diamonds on it. Like everyone is saying i think youd be better off with a Z28.

True I think im gonna do that the only thing that sucks is that every z28 or ss I find has really high mileage...

The most I would want to spend is maybe 8 grand... because I figure if I put 8 grand into the camaro I have it would be in pretty damn good shape dont ya think?

8 grand into the car you have probably wouldnt get you past body work and engine swap. I mean theres no point in doing bolt ons to the V6 if your just going to swap it out. If you want your body done right it will run you a couple thousand. including bodykit body and theaccessories (like your lights) and then theres the paint. Once your body work is done your going to spend hundreds buying things for the swap, then you have to buy the engine (ive been told Used LT1s run for about 1000 dollars and its only more expensivefrom there). Now 8 grand into a Z28 and your set. What you really need to do is write down what you want to do and find out who you want to do it and how you want to do it etc. Get quotes and find prices from parts stores and then add all the prices up (including all the shipping). I did this for my list and i think everything excluding engine and paint came to about 5grand. This is everything from intake/exhaust to rear end and even appearance stuff.
