The pump is on the front drivers side of the engine . Just look for the pump and follow the two hoses that come out of it and see if you can spot a leak.
It is possible that you may have a transmission line leaking, but I'd think it's more likely a power steering hose.

Right behind the driver's headlight, there's a black boxy-looking thing with a cap on top. That's the fill resevoir for your power steering fluid, and should have pipes going down. Follow those pipes and look for leaks.

The power steering pump is basically right behind that and down. It's attached to the engine, and the drivebelt goes around the pully that's attached to it. On the 3.8L v6, it should be the pulley that's closest to the wheel on that side (not sure which engine you have, but I saw in your ID that you've got a '97).

I'm not sure where it would be on the v8, but there should be a diagram at the very front of the car, under the hood, that shows which direction the drivebelt goes around these pulleys. That should help you locate which pully is for the power steering pump.

You mentioned that there seem to be several leaks, and that only one of them is red? I recommend getting some good cleaning supplies and scrubbing everything under the hood, then watching to see where leaks come from. If there are multiple leaks, I wouldn't recommend driving it until you really know what you're dealing with. Driving with insufficient fluid of any kind can cause more and worse problems :0(

You said you just bought it, so I'd recommend that (after we find and fix all the leaks) you do a complete flush and refill on your coolant, change the oil and tranny fluids, and at least check the brake fluid and power steering fluid levels and cleanliness.

I just thought of another possibility on your red leak, though... If it looks like a light red or an orange, it's possible that it could be the Dex-Cool coolant leaking. If that got on your drivebelt or your power steering pulley, it could cause slippage which would make your steering difficult and would make the pulley whine.

Trace the drips up and let us know where it looks like the fluids are coming from.
