Default power window falls an inch when rolling down

On my drivers side ever since I've had the car the power window will fall about an inch or so while rolling down. It starts rolling down fine then about half way down it will take a sudden fall of about an inch or so. Any ideas on what's going on here? I know I need to replace both window motors but the driver side that's doing it is actually still the better of the two motors.

Thanks. It's done it as long as I can remember but I didn't think about asking about it till I saw the other window related post. Funny thing is it actually didn't do it yesterday lol. Now I'm wondering if it's quit and I just didn't notice it quit doing it :P

It possible that the grease in the window guide tracks has dried out enough to become hardened and sticky instead of slippery. If the weather changed lately or became more humid, that may explain why is is temporarily cured. Take off the inside panel and re grease those tracks.

My mech greased the tracks last time I had the car in the shop. I may not have noticed but it could have stopped doing the falling thing after that :P I was just wondering what it could be cause by but the greased, non slippery tracks makes perfect sense. Thanks
