Power Steering Fluid
#3
On the user Manual said:
GM Power Steering Fluid (GM Part No. 1052884 - 1 pint, 1050017 - 1 quart, or equivalent).
These are old fluids really difficult to find.
The fluid in my Camaro is red (never changed) and the 70 cl of gm 89021184 that i've add is uncolored.
Do you think that this new fluid is an equivalent?
Many thanks...

You won't really find specific power steering fluid for cars off the shelf any more. Just about every car (excluding Honda who are special) can use universal power steering fluid. Prestone, Valvoline and store brand are the most common I see. Lucas has some too.
I agree with Craby. Sounds like it has trans fluid in it. It'll be fine but better hope the PO didn't put power steering fluid in the trans doesn't work both ways. Haha

ahuahuahuhuahu!!
Nononono... in the Automatic Trans I use Dex VI! yeah!
...And dex VI is not ok for PS.
I think in the PS are ok only the PS Fluid or the dex II/III.
