It's a 2002 with a 3.8, i wish it would have the V8. Bought the car in nov. has 82K on it, i purchased the car at 6006.00 with tax and title. It was a steal. I plann on putting a 350 in it but will see how easy that will be. By the way thanks this car is a head turner.

Before you get all excited about doing this swap you may want to research a little first. It is not easy and you pretty much need to have a COMPLETE doner car sitting next to you. Check out this thread if you havn't already

https://camaroforums.com/forum/93-02-v6-tech-14/v6-v8-swap-how-32391/
This is the whole thread

and https://camaroforums.com/forum/showp...6&postcount=58
is my posting on it about my experience of assisting my friend in the swap. It is not easy and not something you would want to do if you only have median mechanic experience

Other than that great looking car. My Sarah is a 99 3.8L and she will be her whole life. I am going to go the easy route and buy a Z28 instead of making one.

I purchased a motor and thought that was all I needed and everything else would be a cinch. Wrong! It's alot of work you have to do with the swap being that the 02 has alot of electrical stuff so I just said forget it.
