Hey there guys I'm back. OK like I said I have the pics of JDS's Camaro. Now this car is a little rough but it has come leaps and bounds in the 3 weeks since he brought it home. Here is a little bit of the story.

The car showed up on CL for $800 firm and he fell in love. RSSSCamaro, JDS, His mom and me all went to check this car out. When we got there we found out that the gal that was selling it had a strange idea of what good condition really was. Well we tore the car apart and told the lady what a mess it really was and then made an offer for $600. She said she would take the $600 if we gave her cash tonight. Well JDS only had half, I gave him the other half and RS called AAA and we towed the car back to RS's house. The car was sidelined due to burnt positive primary wire. Well we rebuilt the wire and hooked the battery back up and melted the new wires. OK WTF We check for shorts and what have you and everything is good. ALT, good starter good, battery... yea that had -12V in it. before you say I had the meter on the posts backwards I didnt. I know what I am doing in the electrical system. Som moron friend of the gal we bought the car from hooked the battery up backwards and charged it that way. Yes the battery was reverse polarized and that is why the wiring burnt. We found a good normal polarized battery and hooked it up and WOW no fire and the car started right up. Since then we have swapped the taillights from cheezy ghetto aftermarkets to 98-02 (I wrote up a how to on the swap) and last weekend it recieved 2 new unmolested doors. This car is rough still but will be a good project and first car for JDS.
