New-to-me 2000 V6 Convertible.
Perfect for an Old Man to cruise with his best girl.
Give me a couple weeks and it'll be a lot shinier.

Default All cleaned up

Had to clean her up Saturday after a blast of a drive , damn bugs gaw! After a wash I vacuumed, did the glass, Amor All'd the interior and applied fresh tire shine. Back in the garage covered up for now, getting my stripes done soon.

I dig it! How many miles? Stick or auto? Here in Wyoming this weekend was finally perfect for open air driving! I know every time I went somewhere, I had the T-tops off.

70K miles, auto.

If I was going to get a rag top, I needed the 'hard' parade boot [check] and an automatic [check]. That's "parade ready".

I did a parade once in my 6-speed C5 Corvette and, by the end, my left leg was about twice the size of my right.
The car. at idle, would go about twice the speed of the marching band behind us. On and off the clutch gets old real quick!

BTW, I figured out over the weekend where the wheels are from. My RPO sticker says it came with steel wheels.
The previous owner, who couldn't remember, apparently got them off of a 2000 Firebird.

1996 RS, 3.8L V6. Always loved the recessed lettering on the back.

Did you take the RS package off?

It didn't have the ground effects when I bought it. Knowing the original owner, they would have either asked for them not to be added or removed them as soon as they got it home. Not sure if that makes it unfair to call it an RS, still pretty new to the threads.

I'm really enjoying the SS so far! 2000 SS with the top down.
2000 SS with black top.
