New member here from Birmingham Al!
Racing, and especially the Chevy Camaro is in my blood!
I grew up around race tracks, in the pits, and around lots of camaros and vettes. My dad raced in the 70's and then built camaro race cars from the ground up for several teams in the 80's.
My parents owned several z28's and corvettes all throughout my childhood, in addition to an 87 IROC, 92RS, 96z28, 2001 SS and now, at the age of 37 I'm the proud owner of one of my dream cars; a 2002 SS SLP 35th anniversary! I found this forum and just had to join up! I hope these pics post correctly.

Nice car that's actually my favorite one the 02 le1 ,I would get some headlights like mine for it there so cool at dusk $120.00 clear turns markers an your up to date led lights everyone is doing now will spark it up even more ,though I am not disappointed with my clone ,it has a few more hp now like 100 over the lt1 it had an even more tlbs ,its rips like I know yours does as well the 345hp ,I think there under rated too,the lights are cool

I'm absolutely in love with that white w/blue vinyl striping.

I think that when I get around to it, I'll do striping from the bottom of the front bumper all the way across to the bottom of the rear bumper like that on my '98 with its factory white paint. I don't particularly enjoy the way the stripes cut off on the hood and the rear hatch just at the wing.

I'll probably do that in junction with a rally stripe on the driver side in the same color.

looks like a real rs one of 2 years 96 97 with front ground effects intact ? though that kit does not look as low as a stock one RS ,I would love to have that on my 95 one day hard to park them I hear, but I would need 3 sides from a 97 0r 96 then front from 98-02 to match ,I wonder if that could work, though they make kits for all year an different ones too
