Was messing around with plasti-dip tonight. I figured I would give grand sport stripes a shot. I was pleased with how they came out.

 

Wow, I didnt think plastidip worked so well. I thought it would turn out horrible. You may have turned me on to something. haha.

 

How did you keep it from peeling when you removed the tape? Every time I use that stuff, it comes off with the tape and leaves jagged edges...lol

 

With stripes you have to spray one heavy coat at once and then peel the tape off before the stuff dries. That will leave you with straight lines.

 

is it just me, or does the hood look like a slightly different shade of red compared to the rest of the car?

 

It looks to me like he got a new hood and hasn't painted it to match yet

 

The car has a really bad paint job on it so my hood and spoiler (which are newer) dont match at all since my car faded. My car faded to like a pink color so I want to get it painted Race red (from a 2013 mustang) this summer.

 

Paint a camaro a mustang color
