Possible "stupid" question on Lighting
Hey y'all,
I was hoping someone with experience on aftermarket lighting could help. I just bought new headlights and taillights (not HID) and was wondering if there's anything special I need to do besides just wire them into the existing wires?

I would think if they are vehicle specific you should be able to just install them the same way as factory. At least that's been my experience on other vehicles. But others on here can give better answers, there's quite a few people with aftermarket lighting. I like the headlights BTW, where did you get them?

Taillights, I'm not sure. The headlights, if they are simply the halos, then all you have to do is figure out is how you want them to light up. Example, mine are connected to the parking lights with quick connectors. So whenever my parking lights are on, they are on. But you can connect them however you want. That's just what I did. They install the same way the factory ones do.

I have the exact same headlights and taillights. Taillights connect just like OEM while the headlights connect normal as well except for halo portion. I would just do like DarlingReject said and connect them into the parking lights. thats how mine are ran but i have the HIDs hooked up to the lowbeams

Thanks everyone for the help. Especially DarlingReject, I took the exposed wires for the Halo ring and pushed them into the plug for the driving lights, then plugged the lights back in and ran a piece of electrical tape to ensure water resistance. No splicing, no exposed wires, everything looks "normal." Now all I have to do is get them re-aligned as I'm currently a bit cross eyed at night.
