well i just wanted to say i might be buying a 96 z28 for $3000. If anyone remembers i made a post about it like 6 months ago and i finally got to talk to the guy who acctually owns the car and hopefully i can make payments on it if i cant a loan on the car i got now to buy it. Im so freakin excited!!!!!!!!



another question my 3.4 i got the over heating issue solved it was the heater hose quick disconnect and it was leaking like a water hose. Now the only issue is its not throwing out heat when i turn the heat on. I just bought a brand new thermostat and yes its functioning correctly. I dont know what else would cause this.

 

how did you fix the heater hose and which one was it. theres a restrictor on one hose and it can plug. is both heater hoses getting warm after engine runs to operating temp. could also have a air lock. try parking on the steepest hill you can find with the front on the up side. let it cool and open the radiator cap and have a look at the coolant level. if still full start engine and see if it knocks a airlock lose.
