Default Possible Fuel Pump Issues

'94 Camaro Z28 LT1

My car was showing signs of fuel pump failure (little power under acceleration, poor idle, engine dying while driving, ect.) I put in a new fuel pump and the car ran very well with no issues. Drove around town and ran great with no power loss. Stopped at the gas station and filled the tank up full. Bam. Right back to no power and dying. What could've possibly caused this? Im stumpped.

did you look to see how clean the tank was when the pump was changed. try pulling the fuel filter and dumping its contents out in a clear container. dump the filter from the tank side. see whats there.

The tank, pump, and filter are all brand new.

have you tested the fuel pressure? could be a plugged cat. does the car have catalytic converters, are they getting red hot, does it seem quite?

Found the problem. The seal around the top of the pump assembly wasnt set right and there was a vacuum line that was sucking in fuel, dumping raw fuel into the engine, causing it to not run.
