Default Pitfalls of a LT1 to LS1 swap

Hello, I have been looking around and all I find are V6 to LT1 swap threads. I was wondering what the pitfalls are of putting a LS type engine in my 95 Z28.
I am considering getting my car refreshed with a new engine that I intend to build but I am wondering if going the LSx type engine would be best.

kind regards,
jim

these cars were specifically designed for the engine it came with swapping any other engine would require alot of money time and custom fab

You would need a donor LS1 or LT1 car to perform any sort of LS1 or LT1 swap.

Like what is said above but with the added note of you would need to replace the nose of your car to the catfish nose. Or at least a cowl hood if you go with a CAI that does not come up on the core support.

Any engine swap to a different engine than the factory installed will require a doner car. Also if you are going the LSX route you will still need the LS1 doner car as a starting point. Not much is the same between your car and the LS1 cars.

Thanks all for the comments. I do not think it is worth it unless I sell my car and get a newer one with the LS engine in it.
I am picking up a used LT1 motor that I will build up. Off to LLoyd's then.

thanks
