parting out

just curious how much can u make parting out a lt1 style 4th gen that say doesn't have an engine or tranny?

depends on alot of things and what someone is willing to pay. thats a pretty good price range there

well I paid $480 for a 97 RS that still ran and the body was in good condition. so i'm not sure about the Z with no engine or tranny and alot of body damage

parting out will get you alot more, id say about $3000-$4000 if you part out every part

wow u think that much? of course its not gonna be and overnight thing but i figured you could just make ur money back

I believe the local market for car parts will weigh heavily on just how much you can get as well as how many bone yards you are competing with. Also depends on how much time you want to put into cleaning up the parts or if you just want to yank them off and sell as is.
