so a friend of mine who used to have a 95v6 3.4 noticed that some part was stuffed back in the engine bay and wasnt connected i have no clue what it is so i took pictures of it and where it goes...what is it, what does it do, is it important, how much to fix it?

Is that a hole on the intake elbow in the second pic? That definitly needs to get covered up.

Its a vac line. There was a nipple that stuck out of the air intake that got broken off. The other end pic3 is where the end with the rubber gromet goes. You can either go to the junk yard and get another elbow, or super glue it back into place. If you glue it, make sure you clean the areas to be glued clean of grease, or glue wont adhere.
