p1870 after rebuild
So my 4l60e finally packed up (broken sunshell - lost 2 gear, OD, and reverse)
I made the probably dumb decision of rebuilding it myself. (i have no real auto knowledge myself, aside from shade tree home repairs). I purchased a full rebuild kit, ATSG manual, spring compressor tool and teflon sealing ring installer.
Over the course of the next 8 months, i carefully tore the transmission apart right down to just the case, using the transmissionbench videos as a guide, with the ATSG manual being my primary material. When i got to the valve body, i decided to install the sonnax TCC regulator even though I was having no issues, as a precaution as I plan to keep this car for a long time.
Installed the trans back in the car, and everything works, but I have no lockup.
Verified with a tech2 that the computer is commanding lockup, and that the solenoid is being commanded.
Now i'm out of ideas
