Default Is it okay to put a ss hood on a z28?

I like the look of the ss hood alot better then the z28 and I was wondering if other people will have negative opinions on it and think I'm trying to pretend like I have an SS

Jeez, who gives a crap what other people think? Do whatever floats your boat. Now, if you're trying to be a poser, with putting on SS emblems, that's a different story, and grounds for dismissal from the Camaro "brotherhood"!

I have an SS hood sitting in my garage I'm going to put on eventually. There aren't a huge amount of options for hoods, just go with what you like. Eventually I'm going to go with the SS spoiler conversion as well, it's all about what you want as Camaro69 mentioned. But, again if you're going to badge your car as an SS then most are going to look down on the car and the "poser"

I personally like the way the SS hood looks..a lot better than the flat, z28 hood. I will eventually put an SS hood on my Z, and I mean, when it all comes down to it, who really cares what other people think, but I don't think really anyone has a problem with putting an SS hood or spoiler on a Z28. Like Camaro 69 said, now if you go around sporting SS badges..you're gonna get torn apart by people once they realize it's fake.

no no no, don't do that for a street car.

When I DO drive my car on the street, its a pain in the *** with a big cowl hood(even if it looks really bad ***), I can barely see over it and I'm 5'10"

But, on the matter of the SS hood, I say go for it, its a nice looking hood.
