down the side and onto the cross pipe maybe?

Since you guys gave me the idea of a possibility, I started researching online and I just read several postings of this same thing (symptoms) on the exact model of car on the web and it was what it turned out to be. I hope so in this case

Actually there is a pipe that runs right under it and it was leaking out on it and the heat was causing smoke. Changed it while ago and it's not leaking from there so far in the first drive with it. I even have oil pressure again.

This car doesn't have much "stock" stuff on it including the exhaust lol. Yours may not have a pipe where this one does and I'm not kidding. We have the 2 of them and this burgundy one is way louder.
