so just unscrew the screw not running and let it sit? and where are the other two screws at, i only know of one and did only one yesterday

did you check out the link i gave you. if you click the different colored words there is more info there. one is on the top of the thermostate cover, one is at the bottom of the throttle body and one on the hose. like i said the hose will not bleed till the car is running. after losening the screw a couple turns, (all thats needed) you should see coolant coming out of the base of the screw where theres a small hole. once coolant comes out close it. that site in the link is a great site for info, check it out. gota go be back latter.

yes thanks for the link and your help.. i only have two bleed screws and bled them, temp seems to be normal now and didnt overheat but then i realized i need another new thermostat since the lt1 takes a different kind. or will the one i have work for now? i also still need to get the fan fixed. does anybody have a part number for them?

what part of the fan, the motor or the whole assembly?

The passenger side fan makes a loud noise. Not sure why. And do I need to worry about changing the new thermostat for a lt1 thermostat?

if you put a non lt1 thermo in it yes it needs to be changed. the standard small block chev one is not for a reverse flow system. i thought you got a 160 degree lt1 thermo, what one do you have. part number?

yeah i bought one before knowing it took a special kind. i got a mr gasket #4363

Yeah sucks. So now I gotta rebleed it once I change it correct?
