Default No spark from coil

Well this is getting pretty frustrating. Still cant get the 1994 Z-28 to fire. I replaced the Coil and the ICM this morning. I tested the ICM harness yesterday and all pins A,B,C, ad D checked OK. Thought for sure then that the Opti was putting out OK and it must be the ICM that was the problem. New ICM, same problem. Checked the coil while cranking the car and have NO output from the coil. How do check the coil harness for input to the coil. (It's a double clip harness with two pins in the top plug and one pin in the bottom plug). I'm I back to thinking it's the Opti that is the problem, in other words does the coil receive any signals from the OPTI to make it fire ? Please help.

Not yet. Found out the A-B pin jumper with a paper clip trick to look for flash codes, does not work on 1994 vehicles- go figure. I bought a jumper wire converter, OBD 1 to OBD2, but I dont have the right OBD 2 scanner with a batttery in it to provide power- ug
