nice car and lots of power but T-tops not sure
Please someone help me before i go insane on how to do this the engine is a 565 BBC all good stuff plus an added F3R-139 procharger, chance conv. , PG, Strange rear. Bout to give up really nice 99 Camaro but has T-tops already got the K-member and getting ready to do the cage. Do i support the roof in places to keep flexibility at a minimum? Do i try to replace the Glass with lexan and put fasteners around it to keep them on? What do i do? Please help will also be street driven due to rules i dont know but have always raced camaro's and its BOWTIE err Die for me and i love the car just not sure what to do oh and it will have about 1800 hp on very little boost please give me some ideas

I would just go find a hard top in the scrap yard and weld in the metal. There are lots of thread around show how to convert a car to T-tops, just reverse the procedure.
From what i have read and heard most 4th generation camaro's start out with the same roof and i am on several forums that say the same thing so not sure i will be tig welding the cage myself which have done many just not on a T-top car but hsve seen camaro's like mine in the 6's with T-tops so trying to figure out how they did it and yes it will be 25.5 certified i can verify that cause i have done as couple so i thanks for your negative advice. Tops will be made from lexan and will be fastened with DZUS fasteners. Should of been some one that has actually been racing and been in the 7's that responded to this but every site has people that dont understand

How is welding in metal a negative advice? T-top just seem like a variable on a car that that should have as few variables as possible.
Welding in a metal support doesn't sound like a bad plan. I mean, you're going to have to do some serious cutting down on the dash to get proper front support points, but it's not impossible. Doesn't sound like you're trying to keep the interior super-pretty and stock, maybe start looking at the inside and figure out your plan of attack.
