What year? If 98+ get a Whisper Lid, and a nice cat-back & high-flow cat (I'm going Borla), and if you're ambitious, go all the way up with your exhaust upgrade (Y, S-Pipe, Headers)

ive looked everywhere for the legendary whisper lid but cant find 1 lol
the people that have em dont wanna give em up

i dont see anyway to purchase one on that site, i thought that whisper didnt produce the lids anymore

Looks like RKSport may have them too, it says LS1, but that is the 3800 design:

Last time I called them was a couple months ago, just wondering if they were even still in business. They are but under a different name. They don't sell the lids anymore.

Last I phoned them they were negotiating prices for the plastic molding for another run, but that was back in 2008... ;-) I got mine in the meantime. If they're not making them anymore they should take them off their website, maybe sell the design/dimensions to a place like FFF that focuses on V6 mods...

thanks for the info, i sent them an email asking if it would fit the v6, maybe thats just a generic pic that they use. do you know anything about this lid? like is it worth the money

I know the Whisper Lid IS worth the money, as is the SLP CAI...

If you cannot find a 3800 Lid, you need to at least eliminate that bozo air baffle!
