Default New soon to be owner

Wussup world! Im carson, this weekend, ill be getting a z28! its a 95! Im usually a mustang guy, but ive converted back to the light side! plus i here camaros are much better in terms of reliability and performance! tips?

Camaros are very, very reliable and lots of power. You shouldn't have to worry since you have the vented one, but beware of the opti, it is the only evil found on our cars. That's all I have to say.

Also, welcome to the forums!

The optispark will last just as long as any other distributor if you take car of it (Loctite the rotor and use sealant on the cap). It's really not that much of a hassle.

Sounds awesome!! So if i get one with around 99-115k, is there any engine things i should do to restore power?

that is not a camaro question, that is a generic question

let's run with the assumption that the current owner has no documentation of ALL maintenance (who does?)

So, you are looking at a 17 year old vehicle

bring a vacuum gauge and use it, it's a pain to perform a compression test on these especially with stock exhaust manifolds but you'll want to do that IF you buy it

As of now the main camaro i am looking at is a 93 z28. got 80k on it. ill post up some pics soon
