Welcome aboard. I don't think you need to change the speakers to put a new head unit in. The Bose speakers are pretty elite when it come's to car audio. What year is your Camaro?

its a 95, 3.4 teal? like a light green blue i like the color. i heard that if i replace the head unit it cuts out the front speakers. is that true?

if you have the 7 speaker monsoon system then yes you will lose some of your speakers but if you get a componant amplifier you can hook those speakers back up the aftermarket deck wont hook up to the stock amp

It depends on how you wire the head unit. You can wire it to run 6 speakers if you bridge the back two sets. Then you can run the rear AUX ports to your factory sub if you have one.
