thats accessory, may be for the heater controls. ill have to look.

thats what my boss was saying but i cant see anything there and to be honest i dont remember unhooking it it may have popped off when i dropped the engine a little could that make it run like crap

well after some research i found that the exhaust rods are longer than the intake rods now its 1130 at night and here i go ripping out the upper to get the valve covers off to check the rods any way to tell what valves are exhaust

yep thats what its for. should be a vacuum hose coming out of a wiring harness, has a L end on it.

exhaust valves would line up with the exhuast outlet. lol. ill get a couple pictures up in a bit with what i have.

thanx craby i appreciate all the help i got the valve covers off and the rocker out guess what bent every rod WTF well good thing there only 2 bucks each any chance anyone knows the length of the rods

I hope you plan to replace the valve covers (and seals) while you're at it -- the 3.4L ones really suck.

i replaced the gaskets not the covers themselves

got the new pushrods in still wont idle i dont know whats wrong with this car but its really pissing me off

SHES ALIVE lol got her to idle but theres an exhaust leak some where shes loud as hell

what cover would i replace the stock ones with and why are they crappy
