Default new fun for me and the camaro

well i blew a head gasket today smoke pouring out of the exhaust the horrible smell of burning antifreeze and the elusive milky oil started tearing her apart when i got home from work today not too bad the worst part was the bottom bolt for the exhaust manifolds closest to the firewall

Looks like you are well on your way. Wow! That engine still looks pretty clean considering the head gasket blew. Mine looked like chocolate milk under the intake.

ya im thinking that they didnt slowly go i think the just blew i just got the other head off and that side is fine but since im in there change both also since i got her all apart anything else i should check\change

The valves look good on this end. How do they look down in the port? They should be fairly clean, a little buildup on them is normal excessive buildup is not. I would have the heads checked for warping and have them magnafluxed to check for cracks.

^^ where would i take them im not to familiar with having other ppl work on my cars can any shop go thru them or do i need a specialty shop
also im was wondering id i should give the parts that came off a good cleaning of if they need a little build up
i used a straight edge and a flashlight to check for warpage and couldnt see the light anywhere
all in all to get the heads off was about 3 hrs

a good automotive machine shop. yes you should clean up the parts

well i got the gaskets in today ill start cracking on that when i get outta work i also broke both the bolts off for the egr tube in the manifold soooo looks like im going with the egr delete im just gunna weld the hole shut also the line that runs from the pass side manifold around the back and to some emissions box (i think its for emissions) can i eliminate that a plug the hole in the box or do i need that i wish i had the money to build this engine a little since i got it all apart (cam headers that kinda sht) but it only took about 3 hrs to tear down so maybe another day

shtty part today at work im replacing the hg on a 95 honda last week i replaced the hg on another honda we have a ranger sitting at the shop that needs a hg WTF its hg season or something

This thread is exactly what I needed! I may be doing intake gasket and head gaskets soon after my fuel pump. My car smokes white on a cold start for about a minute and runs really rough for a few seconds. I may be PMing you for help lol. The pics you posted make me feel more confident though.
