Alright thank you. I will have to look into my state's emissions. I'll YouTube some 98 TA's with catted y's and with offroad y's to get feel for how they sound.

i got a corsa power pulse rsc system on my camaro with long tube headers ORY and a cut off valve, sounds amazing with the valve closed but with it open its loud. I love it its such a solid set up. And if you have a mechanic that will pass your car regardless of it having cats or not then it doesn't really matter. I have cats that i can put on my system if i want so i just throw them in my trunk when i get my car inspected in NY and my mechanic just passes the car anyway
