You are going to have to pull the door a part and try to see where its binding. Make sure you have a can of spray grease.

if you had a leaking caliper or brake cylinder it can set off the brake light and turn the brakes off in that half of the system. once done with the brakes bleed the air out and then push on the brake peddle very hard. if the light is on because of a fluid leak it will reset the brake isolation valve and brake light will go out. abs and or traction control could be a wheel sensor or wiring harness to a wheel sensor. you should have one on each wheel. look here for some info on the lt1, good site nothing on brakes though. how to is great. http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_tech1.html
