Lightbulb Need some ideas

Okay so i i have a 96 z with a kn intake, flowmaster exhaust, long tube headers, performance plugs and wires. What are some other options i could do to get some more power? Open to most suggestions and trying to not spend a crazy amount. No more then about a thousand dollars. Thanks

So what application will the car's power be used for? Are you wanting top speed, off the starting line or overall daily driver that catches the attention of a cougar.

Just some overall power! top speed isnt really a big issue since 160 is enough for me.

you could go with a DIY tune, like pcmforless or something of the nature. if its auto then possibly a b&m shift kit for more smooth, quick shifting

I forgot to mention that yes it is a auto and it was rebuilt a year ago and has a shift kit. Have you had experience with tuners?

not yet no, but i hear a lot of good things about self tunes if you know what you're doing. a lot of guys on here have dealt with tuners first hand and will tell you exactly what you need to know. do you want to do just bolt ons?

im only 19 and i go to college for auto so your not far behind me lol, but if you dont wanna get too into it, then you could get it breathing even better with a ported intake and bigger throttle body. you could find intakes anywhere from $200-$500 or so, and the throttle body possibly $200-$400 maybe.
