Default Need some answers about the radio.

Hi.
In my '98 camaro I have the radio without CD. I don´t want to change to a aftermarket cd player as I like the stock look. one of the buttons says ''TAPE AUX'', so I´m woundering if there is a opening for a AUX plug somwere in the car so I would be able to put in a bluetooth resiver so I could use spotify with my sony ericsson x10 mini pro?

Here is a pic of the radio-

There is an aux plug in the back. It's a strange plug in tho. Best bet is to find someone who has a 97+ cd deck they would sell you. Then you'll have the stock look and also a cd player.

It´s for adjusting the headlights. Think it´s a law or something in europe that if you have heavy load in the back you have to adjust the headlights so they shine straight forward.

Would be easyer to get the music from spotify via my phone as more or less all music in the world is on spotify.. Maybe just could take a AUX cable and drag it under the consoll in the middle and up in the armrest between the seats? Is it a 3,5mm AUX plug in the rear?

No it's a strange five or six prong thing. Get one of those cassette things with the aux wire conected to them and plug your phone into it.

The aux on this stereo is not compatable with other systems or after market link modules. The AUX comes out on the left side rear hatch where the rear most speaker is located. If you have the 12 disk changer then the aux would be plugged in if not it is just wrapped up. You can change to a 97+ head unit but you will have to take the car to GM to have the new deck "Unlocked". It will cost from $50-$100 depending on the dealership.

Massey is in error, you have a '98, so check for the CD Changer port in the back -- if you have it, get the USA Spec PA11-GM45 interface, and it will give you both RCA inputs and iPhone/iPod inputs and control. I have them in both Camaros -- love it. This unit works with 97-02 Camaros.
