need info on 350 carbarated

Default need info on 350 carbarated

will a carbarated 350 fit in my 94 camaro with out serious modifaction and if any one has done it a pic would be cool im wondering if it will drop right in but im not sure im thinking of taking a powertrain from an 85 and puting it in my slow poke 94 v6 car what ya think??????????

Not without some modification to the cowl. The problem really isn't fitting the carb under the hood, that can be done with a low rise intake assembly. You will however have to modify the cowl that the engine sits 1/2 under because of the distributor. 4th Gen V8's have the distributor on the front of the motor unlike the older cars which have it on the back side. You're also going to have to get a new K member to mount the motor. Needless to say it isn't just a "drop it in there" sort of job.

ya im not to worried about the cowl im just wondering is the shifter going to fit and what can i do with the powerstering pump i may need to use an older one im gussing i would imagin that the older moter mounts would fit.any more suggestions are welcome
