Hello i currently have purcahsed a set of wheels 17x9 with a 6.00 backspacing but the wheels suck out past the car to far in the front so i am sending those back and i was wondering if i get a corvette c6-zo6 wheels that are 17x8.5 i do not have the backspacing if you do please inform me but any ways will i have the same problem of them being to wide or or shold they fit well thanks

You didn't say what you are putting them on so here is generally what I found when I changed wheels on my 02 Z28. I looked at so many different wheels and no one could tell me if they would fit even when I had the offset numbers. I went to www.oewheelsllc.com in Florida and they have a large selection of wheels and will tell you if they will fit. I went the ZO 6 17x8.5 and they fit and look great. If you have lowered the car it will make a difference. Good luck You will really make the car stand out with aftermarket wheels..
