Default need help on some tires

my tires are 235/55/16. im looking for some that get good traction in the rain and are quiet. my last ones are getting pretty bald and have NO traction in the rain. its getting a little dangerous. ive been looking around, and i think i like the General Altimax HP's. theyve gotten good reviews and sell well. they dont do too well on snow and ice, but im in alabama so thats no big problem lol. plus, i like the look of them. has anyone else tried these? if so did u like them? has anyone tried any other tires and liked them? any help would be greatly appreciated

I really like my BFG KDWS's thus far. They're decent in the rain, snow and ice is another matter, but that could be an "LT1" problem as well. If you're willing to put down a little more coin, Firestone Firehawk Wide Ovals always seem to get good ratings for performance and rain etc.

Why so many darn tire choices???
I'm looking at Goodyear F1 G3-DS tires, supposedly very good in both wet and dry roads. Unfortunately (fortunately?)it doesn't rain much here. And they're very expensive.

I use to have the F1 Goodyear Eagle tires but I didn't care much for them. My Falkens that I have now are better and they are not that good either. Just my 2 cents.

Big fan of Falken Tires. Good value for the dollar.
